I just found out i still had one of these laying around from my earlier attempts on FPV. Never have used this one

Frontside:
The backside: (don't mind the red circle)
This should be a pretty straightforward switch, right? As far as i can tell only the GND and 5V out are switched compared to the transmitter in the Splash drone.
EDIT:
Yep, works like a dream
Excuse my shoddy electrical works, just a quick test to see if/how it would work, and you know what they say.. If it's stupid but works, it ain't stupid
Even when i changed the dipole antenna on the TX, the screen got 1-1,5 bar more on the signal indicator And this is while it's just inches away :S
However i also noticed now that the screen itself has RP-SMA jacks and the antenna's i've got are all with SMA connectors... So gotta get some adapters for that to continue.
UPDATE:
Instead of doing a lot of soldering etc, i simply switch the wires in the servo plug itself by taking out the pins. Now i've got the 600mw immersion rc tx as an easy swap module Now i just gotta find a good place to fit it inside the drone and hopefully i will have some time today or tomorrow to test.
With the stock TX i only had about 200-250 mtr of range and deteriorated very fast. On a different forum i read some disturbing results regarding the range and output power of the mi600 TX's, as low as 135mw on some channels!! So i'm hoping for some amazing results
